The ingredients needed to prepare Falafel:

  1. You need of Falafel Ingredients.
  2. Use 2 cups of soaked overnight chickpea.
  3. Use 2 of small onions.
  4. Prepare 10/12 of garlic cloves.
  5. Use 1/2 tsp of cummin powder.
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.
  7. Use 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of black pepper crushed.
  9. Get 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  10. Get 1 cup of Handull of chopped coriander leaves.
  11. You need 2 tsp of maida / all purpose flour / bread crumbs.
  12. Take 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
  13. Take to taste of Salt.
  14. Get as needed of Oil for deep fry.

Instructions to make Falafel:

  1. Firstly soak 2 cups of chickpeas overnight..
  2. Next day drain off the water & transfer soaked chickpea to a food processor(mixer) and blend it..
  3. Add garlic cloves in it..
  4. Blend coarsely without adding water..
  5. Mix coarse & all other ingredients (except oil) in a bowl & mix well..
  6. Heat oil in a kadhai/pan..
  7. Take a tsp of mixture & make patties from it & fry them on medium flame..
  8. Serve those patties hot with sauce or other dips..
